I'm a product security analyst at HackerOne and the founder of Secure Hyperloop. These days I spend most of my time on bug reports from researchers: reproducing them, working out how serious they really are, and explaining them so the customer's team can fix them. Before that I spent about four years pentesting web apps, APIs, Android and iOS apps, and networks.

I triage reports that researchers send in for HackerOne customers. I check whether the bug is real and how severe it is. If details are missing I go back to the researcher, and if a report isn't valid I explain why. The customer gets a clear write-up from me with the impact, steps to reproduce and how to fix it.
